A print of my original painting, ‘Giraffe’s Gaze’, featuring a beautifully patterned giraffe with expressive eyes against a soft, modern sage-green background. Giraffes have been my all-time favorite animal for as long as I can remember. My love for them started when I was very young, when I received my first stuffed animal, a baby giraffe that I carried everywhere. I even pushed it around in a stroller! I still have that little giraffe in my room today, where it continues to inspire me. When creating this painting, I wanted to capture what I find most beautiful about giraffes: their eyes. There is something gentle, curious, and almost wise about their gaze. I paired those expressive eyes with the giraffe’s long, elegant neck and its distinctive pattern, creating a piece that is both playful and modern. The extended neck design also makes ‘Giraffe’s Gaze’ especially fun to display—it can be paired as a two-piece artwork, creating a unique statement on your wall.
