About Me
Hi, I'm Emma. I've been making art for as long as I can remember, but over the past few years it's become a much bigger part of my life. I love being able to express myself, share ideas and stories visually, and capture moments that mean something to me. I started Emmagine Art because I wanted to see if my art could grow into something more, and I thought, why not me?
Her Story
I've been making art since Grade 1, starting with little marker drawings and creating whatever came to mind. During COVID, I started painting almost every week, and that's when art became something I really stuck with.
Over time, I kept experimenting and improving. Last year, I applied and was selected for a year-long local youth scholarship program that gave me the opportunity to exhibit my work in curated galleries and learn more about what goes on behind the scenes.
That experience made me want to start sharing my work more publicly. Emmagine Art grew from there, as a place to showcase what I'm creating, share the stories behind my work, and see where it might lead.

Inspiration
A lot of my inspiration comes from nature. I think nature is its own piece of art, and when I see something beautiful, it makes me want to capture that moment in my own way. I'm also inspired by memories, past experiences and moments that stay with me. Sometimes an idea starts with something sentimental, beautiful or fun, and I like finding a way to turn that feeling or story into something visual. Acrylic painting is probably my favourite, but I also love watercolour and experimenting with new materials and styles.
