A print of my original painting, ‘The 100 Year Old Turtle’, featuring a serene sea turtle gliding through a colorful underwater world filled with vibrant coral. I’ve always been fascinated by what might be waiting beneath the surface of the ocean, and sea turtles have always held a special place in my heart. My love for them grew when I participated in an “adopt a sea turtle” program, where I could help support turtle rescue efforts and follow the journey of my very own turtle, Piggie. I was constantly checking where Piggie was, which made me even more curious about these incredible creatures and the ocean they call home. The name of this painting was also inspired by one of my all-time favorite characters from the movie “Finding Nemo” the 100-year-old sea turtle. To me, that turtle represents wisdom, adventure, fun, and a little bit of coolness. I painted this piece as a celebration of my love for sea turtles and the colorful, mysterious world beneath the waves. And someday, I hope to make one of my biggest dreams come true: swimming alongside a sea turtle in the wild. Until then, I hope ‘The 100 Year Old Turtle’ brings a little bit of that underwater wonder into your home.
